| Entry on the card | Why Dollop needs it | How long Dollop keeps it |
|---|---|---|
| Nickname | The name Dollop calls you on the pier | Until you tear the card up |
| Email address | Finding your card again when you log back in | Until you tear the card up |
| Password hash | Letting you log in while the kiosk never holds the password itself | Until you tear the card up |
| Sign-up date | Answering notes through the hatch and dealing with misuse | Until you tear the card up |
Nothing else is written down. Dollop never asks for your real name, your address, your date of birth, your phone number or any payment detail, since nothing on the pier is for sale. Your password is only ever kept as a one-way hash. Lawful basis: performance of a contract (providing the account you asked us for). Deleting your account wipes all of it at once, and the button for that is on your account page.

All of this stays put on your device; none of it is sent to the kiosk.
Pick “Accept all” and we use Google Analytics and Google Ads tags to measure visits and whether our adverts lead people to play, a first spin for example. Google then receives your IP address, device information and those events. Pick “Essential only” and those tags run in consent mode, with no cookies and no advertising identifiers. Lawful basis: consent.
Our hosting provider keeps ordinary request logs for a short while, for security. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
At any time you may access, correct, erase or restrict your data, object to how it is processed and withdraw your consent. Deleting your account on the account page wipes the account data straight away; clearing this site’s data in your browser takes care of everything else. Complaints can go to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Wafer Cone Pier is kept for grown-ups of 18 and over. Each spin on the pier uses virtual coins with no monetary value, and those coins can never be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged. No kiosk along the boards sells coins, no page takes a payment, no prize of real-world value is handed over the counter, and success here does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
